BEGINNING THE "RELATIONAL QUEST" {Re:SYN1}

IS THERE A NEED FOR URGENCY?

(in transitioning from a Systemic to a Relational paradigm)

The last half of the 20th century evidenced a critically growing unrest with our present conceptualizations of experience. This trend is now rapidly approaching a crisis point which will necessitate a major shift in world view. The emerging paradigm is one in which the “deep structure” of the universe is viewed, at least as a leading metaphor, as a super hologram. The data underlying this conceptual revolution comes from various areas of the “frontiers of research” which are predominantly "un-orthodox", "other-than-ordinary”, i.e. "anomalies". The unifying feature throughout this data is the concept of The WHOLE as a system which presences in each and every part. In the large, orthodox research, by definition, must and has always actively resisted or passively ignored data which is “other-than-ordinary”. The current crisis in knowledge has been cogently summarized, e.g. in the suggested need for a different scientific methodology for each (altered) state of consciousness. The fundamental resolution of this crisis, however, necessitates a shift (or broadening) in paradigm such that the present sole concern with system-as-totality is extended to emphasize the system-as-whole where a whole in Relational Systems is No-thing and hence must be of Tri-Relational (interrelated relations) form. It is no longer questionable as to whether this shift will come; it is of concern, however, as to how long it will take since it has been previously observed that major conceptual changes may require 50 years (the passage of 2 biological generations of Humans).

The problem/dilemma/paradox for Humans in this Relational Metamorphogenesis of our Local Universe is what form Humankind-As Is will come To Be within Life Itself. This points to a Radical Trans(Re)lation in the present anthropocentric World View recognizing the following:

• FIRST: Re:the PRESUMPTIVE FOUNDATIONS of "Reason (e.g. Science) vs. Faith", the central challenge of the twenty-first century will be to integrate an evolutionary cosmology with an ecocentric morality recognizing the universal tension between Truth by Adapting Presumed Beliefs to Experience versus Truth by Adapting Experience to Presumed Beliefs.

• SECOND: The Presumptive Foundations as instantiated in THEORETICAL RELATIONAL FUTURES as of "2012/2013 and continuing from 2013-->2036-->2063", suggest a focus seems to be forming around the Epic of CoCreative Cosmi(Choice)Chaotic(Chance) (R)Evolution emerging from the necessarily irreducible interrelation of the Analytical (Inquiry and Inference) and Intuitive modes of consciousness as MIND, including VIRTUAL SYNTHETIC MIND.

• THIRD: The Presumptive Foundations as instantiated in Theoretical Relational Futures interpreting EXPERIENTIAL/EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATIONS which evidence the conflict between adherents of co-creative evolution and those of causal origins, reflect also the difference between Self-Confidence in Choice vs. Self-Doubt in Chance or Self-Doubt in Choice vs. Self-Confidence in Chance.
